The Everett Team prides itself on their ability to handle the tougher cases.  Admittedly, we are not going to fill every position, but we are going to provide qualified candidates to our hiring managers with extensive information to ensure a quality fit.  If we can't, you will know the reason why.  We have moved an IT Director from San Diego to Alaska so that he and his fiancée could have the rural lifestyle they desired, and another Candidate from Sacramento to Elko, where his son is now off of his asthma medication. 
 
For our candidates, we don't just look for the "right fit" from a qualification perspective, but we want to ensure that the person's life goals are being met.  If this is not occurring, then no matter how good the job is, the match is not there.  We want our Hiring Managers to have employees that are not just doing the job, but are enjoying their lives.  Without this, there will eventually be discontent, which means a poor match.

Hiring Managers

The Gorge Group is not just another "drive by" placement firm. Our goal is to build a lasting relationship with you and your company. We want to be the first person you call when you have that position that must be filled.

When you bring Mick Howard on to your project, you will benefit by having an experienced recruiter who can further your companies goals. Once Mick is on board, you will have someone in your corner for each step of the hiring processes. He will work with you on the position. He will find the selling points of your company and use them in his presentation. Then Mick will make a plan and work that plan to bring you the type of candidates that you need to fill your position with. He will put his resources on your position. When I say resources, I'm talking about his experience, his relationships with other clients and his trained staff to find that certain person your looking for.

Sometimes you will also need that person that is willing to advise you to pull a Candidate, that perhaps you are excited about, from the process. He's more willing to start over and find candidate that's a better fit for your company, than go with candidate who is not. He has your best interests at heart.

 

Candidates

First, let me note that Mick is a family man. He has a great sense of how to balance your home life with your personal life. With any positions that we have you considering one key sticking point with him will be is it a fit for you? More importantly/ is it a fit for your family?

Mick received a call one day from a person who had just quit his job. The reason this person resigned was because they have a child with very bad asthma. The family lived in an area where the child couldn't live a normal life due to the air quality. There was a realization that the situation had to change. The family was moving and a new position needed obtained at a location to help the child's health.

Mick did some research and started making calls. It ended up that after a few weeks of searching, Mick found someone that would hire the person. It ended up as one of the leading places where people with asthma move to. Last report on the child was that there hasn't been an asthma attack since the relocation.

Mick will use his knowledge of the industry help you find that position you have been always looking for or the perfect candidate that will make a world of difference for your company.

He will bring a balance to your hiring process and keep things realistic. He will be there to help your process along and be dedicated to both the candidate and client to make certain it is the "right fit".
